Waved

This has always been one of my favorite paintings. I intended it to be minimal which is easy to want but hard to do. it's also the only time I used this particular floral print which was hand drawn, photocopied on toner and then was chemically transferred onto the piece after the paint completely dried. this process gives the pattern a "news print" quality. The centered figure and unpainted background allows this girl to float and become more than just a figurative painting. "

artwork comes in a 16" x 20" format with a 1 1/2" boarder for matte and framing.
