Edge

Around this time in the studio I was really trying to work with a larger figure and bring more focus on the texture and color fields while attempting to integrate the figure within the abstraction. lots of new colors and palette knife during this time. It's a piece that i think is both graphic and painterly in the right proportion. Titled "edge" for the concept that she is on an edge looking out and also for the knife edges and technique that I believe give this piece more texture and interest. 

artwork comes in a 16" x 20" format with a 1 1/2" border for matte and framing.
